Christchurch Earthquake

We are all fine here, if you do not know we live in Kirwee, which was the Epicentre of the quake at 4.30am
Man I will never forget it for the rest of my life. I am on Civil Defense and has to go out and do some assessing, went to the Fault line on Highgate road, and the ground had been lifted about 1.5 mtrs and shifed to the left (or right) by 3 mtrs
BUT through it all, we have made some new friends, been in touch with some old ones too
Thankfully all my nearest & dearest friends are safe

Its all over.... Phew

Well the Breast Cancer Fundraiser went really well, the ladies all had a fantastic time.
I will post up some photos when I get a spare second, still unpacking the car!!!

Another great Christchurch Training Day

Stampin Up had Regional Training yesterday and it was great, Sophie from OZ, is just amazing, a great Trainer, she showed us all some new trick, and a couple of great things in the New Catty
We have some very talented ladies (and 1 gent) in the Garden City.
The swaps were fantastic, going to upload some photos later, once I have finished looking at them in depth

Got together with some girlfriends the other week and we made a few cards, Experimenting I think. I love Rich Razzleberry! Not feminine and not masculine either, so could really would with both sexes.

I also love kindy Glitz easier than some of the other brands.

Not usually a flowery kind of person, but wanted to use this stamp set! Think it works, not too sure, something missing!!

My son is the best!!!! Well I think so

My son has been doing Fencing since the beginning of Term 3. He was in a Foil Competition on Tuesday Evening and came 4th in the Under 11's and got a gold medal and came 1st in the Under 9's

He loves it, he will now be having extra lesson on a Tuesday, and maybe one day we will see him at the Olympics He he

He is the one in the Yellow Shirt, the boy next to him is 11 years old!! he is fantastic though and also won Gold!

I am sure that I can do a funky card to celebrate the occasion!! Any Ideas

Its my Birthday

I have had a great day, and received a fantastic gift from one of my friends, very lucky!!

In it was chocolates, Vino, Nuts, Coffee, Hand Cream, awesome magazine.

Off to OZ in a few weeks so will use the money my hubby gave me to shop!!
Got some other great gifts,  like a beautiful Necklace & earrings, and a fantastic vase for my hall.

I am so lucky and have such great friends

Feeling a little rusty as have been out of action for a little white.

Went to Staveley Lodge for a Scrapbooking weekend, and was feeling a little nervous as I have not Scrap booked for a while,

Should not have worried, was like riding a bike!!

Decided that after 11 years of marriage I should really scrapbook my wedding

It was so much fun to do, as I didnt have to put everything away, just left it out ready for the next day!

Moving House!!!!

This is the cutest card ever, I love the dogs, people & trees, I love the way the card stands out, and so cute on the colours. You can add anything to the back & Change the words and then a whole new card, This is a fantastic Stamp set to have in your collection! Summer Sun & Chocolate Chip, I made the tag with a piece of card & circle Punch, Pastels & Blender Pens to colour in. I used my NEW Stamp-a-ma-jig, this is a great investment, if you want to get a beeter looking even card!

Scrappy Bits of Paper Cards

I had some small bits of Cardstock left over, and wanted to use them up, so created these cards, using SAB Stamp Sets. very Simple but effective! I used the same stamp set, but tried not to do a mirror image on the stamping but on the Card. Again used Earth Element Colours. I have 4 workshops in the next 7 Days, so guess what style of cards we will be making LOL
